The Case of the Millenials' Mysterious Searching Habits
Lucy Holman, Director Langsdale Library University of Baltimore
Much has been made of the search habits of "millenials", people who have grown up with the internet always being available as a quick and easy source of information. But when it comes time for a more in depth search for information, what do they really do?
Lucy Holman has been searching for answers from millenials themselves. By conducting interviews and watching millenials conduct searches, she has gained unique insight into not only how this group searches, but why they do it. Join us for a discussion of the results of Holman's research that sheds some light on how and why millenials search the way they do and turns up some curious inconsistencies along the way.
